Responsibilities for the HVAC Installer:
- Replace heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment and complete systems.
- Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using advanced electrical test equipment.
- Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, utilizing a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
- Inspect and test systems to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, promptly detecting and addressing malfunctions.
- Join pipes or tubing to the equipment and fuel, water, or refrigerant source, forming a seamless circuit.
- Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, following precise wiring diagrams with electrician's hand tools.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications, staying current with industry standards.
- Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers using specialized hand tools.
- Adhere to all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, prioritizing safety and maintaining a clean work area.
- Skillfully complete digital invoices using Service Titan, a leading software in the industry. Your meticulous work ensures accurate documentation and contributes to our commitment to excellence.
Requirements for the HVAC Installer:
- Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience with EPA License; NATE certification is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills, knowledge of HVAC codes, electrical and HVAC safety, and familiarity with local HVAC and building codes.
- Proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, refrigerant installation, reclaim, and repair.
- Clean, safe driving record; valid driver's license.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to be trained; physically capable of lifting 60+ lbs.
