SHIFT: EVENINGS
Provide support to Manufacturing Operations in Liquids, Salts & Logistics Departments.
Sanitation Role:
- Main focus will be Salts Filling Sanitation.
- Operating responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitation of equipment and manufacturing area (i.e. Hayssen fillers, product hopper, conveyors, scales, buckets, checkweigher, metal detectors, walls, floors, fans, doors, rails, ceilings, pipes, hoses, tanks, hallways, stairs, etc).
Salt Role:
- Operating responsibilities include:
- Placing the Salts Filling bags into the Salts Assembly boxes
- Making sure the Salts Filling bag matches the visual display for each station on the Salts Assembly line
- Operating controls on tilting stations for bins
- General cleaning of the area and performing designated jobs
- Operation of Box Maker and Label Applicator
- Hand tape boxes
- Hand stack boxes
Logistics Role:
- Responsible for washing all Drums, pails, or containers that have been used in manufacturing.
- Defacing all labels and triple washing containers.
- Bale all cardboard and super sacks.
- Gather and recycle all bins within plant (blue bins of paper, plastic, and cardboard, from warehouse, lab, and offices.
- Complete cleaning as required per daily, weekly, and monthly on GMP Cleaning list
General:
- May require operation of forklift
- Follow all applicable facility health, safety, and environmental requirements (e.g. PPE policy) and procedures for reporting incidents and/or injuries per the PepsiCo Employee Handbook, including having the authority to immediately address safety risks.
- Assist in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, GEHSMS programs and procedures through active participation in the near miss/good catch program
- Other miscellaneous duties / projects as assigned

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Detail orientated and ability to organize workload
- Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts and overtime
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Self-driven to work and learn new skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for long periods of time (6+ hours/day)
- Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, go up/down stairs and twist for long periods of time (6+ hours/day)
