The primary roles and responsibilities of the IT System Administrator will focus on providing day-to-day support of Windows Servers, desktops and applications; software/hardware installation, proactive system monitoring and problem resolution. This role will be responsible for the seamless operations of all system hardware, software, peripherals and infrastructure required to support Windows domain environments.
Responsibilities:Prioritize issues and address time sensitive issues promptly. Server and Desktop troubleshooting and proactive / preventive maintenance. Service Request management - Identify, categorize and organize service requests according to priority and severity. Monitor queues and managed services alerts. Field incoming requests efficiently while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Author, document, and maintain all technical documentation including documentation of internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities. Provide technical support via on-call rotation, as required. Studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required. Some local travel may be required
