This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant’s EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with “best of bread” platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration, Hybrid Integration Platforms, B2B Platforms, DPA and Low Code Platforms, and Cloud Integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Specialty Software Engineering: Covers jobs responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and analysis of specific modules or features of new or upgraded software systems and products, which require knowledge in a niche area.
· 15+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
· 8+ years of experience with Cloud technologies: AWS, PCF, PKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Azure, Windows, VMware
· 12+ years of experience with Jenkins
· 8+ years of experience in Automation and Continuous Integration-Continuous Development (CI-CD) of Full Circle applications
· Hand on in depth technical understanding of development, DevOps, Tooling and integrations Lead complex initiatives on selected domains.
· Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
· Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies
· Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
· Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
· Mentor and coach software engineers
· Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
· Support DevSecOps accelerator functions across WIMT for both creating Capabilities (Tooling, Frameworks, Training) and driving adoption strategy and priority
· Apply technology background in software engineering, SRE, multi-Cloud platform management, DevOps, CI/CD, and Continuous Testing to deliver and introduce new technology capabilities and drive DevOps value in a multi-cloud technology landscape:
· Development of standards and best practices including: Branching, Quality Gates, Deployment, How to build a Testable/scalable code/architecture, TDD, BDD
· Adoption of Enterprise tooling and the CICD pipeline
· Quality automation / shift left approach / Software Security best practices (SecOps)
· Development of target architectures, environment engineering, standards and best practices
· Environment engineering solutions: IaaS, Environment on demand capabilities in PCF and PKS
· Test data management - Test data catalog/search/provisioning, Data Sub-setting/Cloning, Test Data Generation
· Measure: Develop and measure adoption metrics

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $86,000 to 150,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
