Job Title: SQL and Oracle DBA (Hybrid)

Location: Charlotte, NC.

• Supervise and handle SQL Server and Oracle Databases.
• Patch SQL Server and Oracle Databases, and work on backup related incidents and requests.
• Tackle database related performance issues and assist Application team with code deployment.

• 8 to 12 years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge in RDBMS, SQL Server, SQL Server Management, Studio RAC, RMAN, Putty, Oracle Data Pump, ASM, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Database Administration.
• Hands-on knowledge with Oracle RAC Golden Gate and oracle patching.
• Excellent communications skills and very comfortable with defining and adhering to strong process management activities.
• Certifications Required: Oracle and Microsoft certifications related to Database will be an add-on.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 79,000.00 - $ 92,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
