This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in the day- to-day operations. Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems. Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery. Preform scheduled preventative maintenance duties. Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions. Complete daily reports and paperwork. Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees. Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs. All shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
Base pay is $18.85 plus an attendance incentive of $2 per hour and a shift incentive of $1 per hours plus pay incentives based on level training..
