Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.
• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
COVID VACCINE REQUIRED: Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J; If a traveler wants to decline based on a Medical or Religious reason, please have them fill out the appropriate Exemption Form and email it to the address on the form. These should be done ASAP as they have to go through a council to be approved or denied
TCTU ( Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Unit) is located within 9W. It specializes in hematological malignancies ( leukemias, myelomas, lymphomas)
ONS/Fundamentals of Chemotherapy (9hr course) Required
Inpatient Oncology Experience ( solid tumors, Hematology/Oncology), Strong MedSurg experience -oncology experience required. Chemo is administered on this unit.
RNs required to titrate drips
Weekend Requirement: Max of every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Travelers could possibly be scheduled on holidays. Must be flexible.
Floating Requirement: Floating is required within the hospital to other units. Travelers on BMT would first float to either 9E or 9W. After this they would float to other units within the hospital.
Scrub Color/Dress code: Royal Blue
