Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

The Echo Technologist oversees technical procedures, patient care and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory. Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing. Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high quality echocardiographic exams.

Required Skills & Experience: -3 years previous healthcare experience. -Positive attitude and proven willingness to assess and improve work environment. -Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow.

Required Certifications & Licensure: -Registered Diag Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)(ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI)

Weekend Shifts: Rotation

Holiday Shifts: Rotation

Maximum days off: 7 days
