Job DescriptionSupports all business units with regulatory information by keeping aware of Federal, State and local regulations, pertaining to Stratas' business. Additionally manages/drives complaint resolution across all consumer complaints. Responsibilities also include completion of all customer surveys and questionnaires, and review/approval of all labels. Also, maintains customer portals routinely.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with Regulatory Supervisor on product data sheet development, ingredient statements for labels and any other regulatory documentation.
- Supporting the Regulatory Supervisor, assisting in completion of regulatory documents, i.e., Certificated of Origin, Non-GMO, Continuing Guaranty, USMCA.
- Supports regulatory compliance in providing interpretation of Food Regulations as applied to finished products. Monitors federal/state regulations to assure all products comply with applicable standards. Assists with inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Supports label designs and approvals for all Stratas products including co-packed products and works with customers, graphic designers, sales and marketing to develop these labels according to current food labeling regulations; including, determining ingredient statements and nutritional for new labels.
- Cascades regulatory documents as needed to Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and Customers.
- Helps maintain regulatory documents and statement letters, i.e.; Certificate of Origin, GMO and Prop 65. Keeps file in Policy Tech updated.
- Maintain and revise Technical Product Data Sheets in Policy Tech.
- Assist in managing consumer complaints and provides formal complaint back to consumer as needed.
- Perform special assignments when needed.
Qualifications
Education: B. S. Degree preferred in related field; or related experience.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience
