This position will work in the office at 234 Kingsley Park Dr, Fort Mill South Carolina Monday -- Thursday and have the option to work remotely on Friday.

Summary: The Data Analyst influences business decisions and supports business strategies by analyzing and understanding customer behavior and marketing/promotion effectiveness. This includes data-driven insights to acquire, retain, and reactivate customers to align with the customer-centric vision.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyzes customer data, demographics, segmentation, and market basket data to transform it into meaningful insights.
• Provides ad-hoc reports and deep dives into customer analytics to help answer and guide strategic business decisions.
• Analyzes marketing metrics for identifying cause-effect relationships between financial outcomes and marketing actions to increase sales and profitability.
• Provides business stakeholders with data related to the performance of marketing channels, the health of the customer file, and the impact of pricing/promotions.
• Translates complex analytics tasks into concise and easily consumable outputs (data storytelling and dashboards) to help business stakeholders make data driven decisions.
• Designs and executes multivariate tests in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Performs research and analysis in order to provide insights regarding the market, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related analytical degree and/or experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in analytics/data mining and presenting those results to business partners preferred.
• Experience using SQL required.
• Familiarity with a variety of statistical models including logistic/linear regression, cluster analysis, propensity models, and other modeling techniques required.
• Experience with Tableau and Alteryx preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Strong computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
