JOB SUMMARY:
Maintains inventory of parts for equipment, and supplies for maintenance of building and grounds, to minimize machine downtime and allow for upkeep of the facility and provides clerical support to the Maintenance department.
ESSENTIALS DUTIES:
- Responsible for inventorying parts by identifying, counting, labeling and data entry of items in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Matches parts order forms and purchase orders and checks in parts orders as received, matching receivers to remainder of paperwork for tracking purposes and recording receipt in Technique.
- Order Office Supplies
- Order supplies for the Pre-Press, Press Room and Bindery Department.
- Delivers ordered parts to requestors. Files completed purchase order information.
- Data entry of information from miscellaneous completed maintenance work orders into CMMS
- Prepares bi-weekly work order report for Maintenance/Manufacturing review.
- Prepare transmittals for any items being sent out to vendors/service i.e. motors, parts/parts for repair, etc
- Files departmental paperwork
- Other duties as assigned by management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Must be dependable, reliable and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
- Must work well with others.
- Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
- Able to follow instructions and make decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Posess of strong attention to details
- Ability to produce error free work
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Familiar with Technique Operating system
- Familiar with the FMX Maintenance System
- Understanding of basic printing concepts and terminology
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
