Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Standard computer / technology skills needed
- Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
- Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
- Customer service background preferred
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
- Must have great attention to detail
- Must be comfortable conducting access control duties
- Must be comfortable with report writing
- Must possess a valid driver's license for state of assignment and insurable driving record
- Must have a reliable means of communication and transportation
- Work experience in the security industry, public service (police, fire), or military is desired
- Must have 1 year of security experience and 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience
- Must be able to complete all job duties indoors and outdoors
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
- Must successfully complete classroom and continuous on the job training as mandated by account and company management
- Capable of learning a variety of security and safety devices and controls
- Ability to track and maintain schedule assignment
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Ability to act effectively without immediate supervision in making judgments regarding site policy and procedures in the absence of supervision, and to follow up on actions taken
- Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
- Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
- Ability to take initiative and achieve results
- Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
- Ability to complete any other additional tasks assigned to them
