Starting Rate: $21.25

Securitas is looking for candidates with prior SOC Operator experience or equivalent for a position in Framingham, Ma.
GENERAL JOB DUTIES
- Identify & direct security, maintenance, workplace services or emergency personnel to incidents reporting into the Command Center.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of all incidents through available logs, shift pass-on, and incident report writing.
- Monitor and dispatch personnel to investigate alarm activity and other reported incidents.
- Provide the security managers and/or client contacts with real time situation updates during critical events.
- Ensure that all posts are properly staffed and schedule replacement coverage for any vacancies. Update schedule to accurately reflect officer working hours and document all book offs and incidents of tardiness.
- Operate two-way radio to communicate critical information to security personnel on location while following established protocols.
- Monitor Access Control systems as directed, verify and update Associate/ Contractor badge access as well as badge creation/ printing for ne Associates/ Contractors.
- Accurately maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Command Center.
- Handle Privileged/ Sensitive information and assist with special investigations.
- Respond to emergency situations following procedures established for the site
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.)
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable means of communication and transportation
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to effectively speak, read and write English
- High school diploma or G.E.D.

Experience:
- Customer service: 2+ years preferred
- Security experience: 1+ years preferred
- SOC Operator or equivalent experience: 1+ year required
- Prior military/law enforcement encouraged to apply.
