This Position is a 2nd shift position.

• Check paper for basis weight.
• Check poly for trim and mil thickness.
• Strip paper/poly rolls. Take off only minimum amount needed.  Scrap is to be placed in the appropriate bins.
• Shaft rolls – using partial rolls (butts) first.
• Perform necessary slide angle tests.
• Thread paper/poly through machine.
• Keep area clean.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Will train on shift as needed.
• Must be able to communicate and understand work instructions and training information.
• Work in other areas as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.
• Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor, Lead Person or Operator.
• Be able to operate tuber as needed.
• Follow all Plant and Safety Rules.
• Assist in Training.

• Must complete Safety Orientation, Departmental Safety Training and OSHA Standards Training

• This position requires the annual completion of Hazardous Waste Management training -- provided by ProAmpac.

• Must have high attention to detail

• Ability to work within a team environment

• High School Diploma or GED
