Job Overview:
·
Provide customer service to clients by answering questions, and assisting them through the clinic process
·
Responsible for Wellness Center staff and clinic execution and ensures that all protocol/procedures are followed
·
Supervise and assist the Clinic Assistants, monitoring processes, procedures, and client interactions
·
Provide coaching to new employees and double check work for accuracy
·
Provide ongoing coaching and development to all Wellness Center staff
·
Lead the Wellness Center team to achieve results and meet goals
·
Resolve all staff issues, document and follow up as needed
·
Resolve all client issues, document and follow up as needed
·
Submit and deliver performance reviews to Wellness Center staff
·
Enter/verify employee time cards in ADP and submit payroll
·
Schedule staff in Apollo and find replacements when needed due to call-offs
·
Build and nurture relationships with host location management and staff
·
Assist in assessing pet lifestyle to determine which preventatives and vaccines are best suited
·
Make recommendations to clients about vaccines, tests, products and microchips that are consistent with both company’s protocols and on-site Veterinarian preferences
·
Promote the nail trim service to clients
·
Responsible for all Wellness Center equipment and ensuring that product and equipment are being handled appropriately and are secured
·
Responsible for inventory and ensuring supplies are appropriately stocked
·
Responsible for performing inventory counts and submitting orders
·
Update POS materials and order replacements as needed
·
Manage administrative duties to include daily paperwork, and end of the day reconciliation
·
Answer client inquiries on the phone and in the store
·
Administer treatment under the Veterinarians supervision
·
Complete Health Certificates
·
Fill out prescriptions
·
Scan all pets for microchips
·
Clean up after pets including drool, urine, feces, and vomit
·
Ensure all clinical stations are operating appropriately
·
Ability to live our values and reinforce our brand promise with our partners, clients and team members
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
·
Experience in a leadership/management role managing 3 or more team members required
·
Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to work weekends, varied weekdays and times
·
Reliable transportation to and from work
·
Present professional appearance and positive conduct
·
Punctuality and dependability highly valued
·
Some outdoor clinic work and activities may be necessary
Education Requirements:
·
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Previous customer service sales experience
·
Navigate computer software (iPad, Bluetooth devices and more)
·
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
·
Ability to work within a team to meet team goals and objectives
·
Comfort level in approaching host location’s customers to educate about our clinics
·
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in the veterinary field/retail management is highly valued
- Must enjoy and be comfortable working with primarily dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments and breeds, including handling and lifting animals as necessary

- Knowledge of basic sales principles and application while making recommendations to clients
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
- Able to work independently without direct supervision
