Responsible for the Associate payroll life cycle – from Hire to Termination. Meets deadlines and maintains accurate pay records to ensure timely and accurate pay for associates.
Primary duty is auditing payroll before submission to Corporate payroll processor. Run reports from the HR software.
Answers questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters.
Coordinates and processes any irregular payments (e.g., sales draws, bonus payments, etc.). assists with communications to employees regarding changes in payroll.
Maintenance and entry into the commission system, driver and warehouse payroll. Ensures time keeping system is kept up to date by Associates and Supervisors. Includes employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
Communicate regularly with local Accounting & corporate payroll on HR & payroll matters. Assist with reconciliation of payroll against financial records.
Special projects, as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software - UKG platform.12 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping with at least six months of experience in payroll.
