The Service coordinator (SC) is responsible for managing the conditions and customer service experiences throughout the Service Department. Service Coordinators oversee the Service Department in a way that maximizes the performance of every Service Area team member to provide fast, safe, and friendly service. Responsibilities -Execute all register functions accurately and with understanding of cashier expectations. -Provide timely, friendly, and accurate service to customers. -Adhere to company processes based on given guidelines. -Perform multiple/varied tasks within a shift. -Provide clear communication. -Provide effective feedback when necessary. -Ability to address customer concerns with timely and friendly resolutions. -Maintain composure of words, tone, and body language under pressure -Prioritize and address the most impactful tasks first (safety concerns and customer service). -Monitor efficiently the service level conditions and react appropriately based on given guidelines. -Ability to problem solve when resources are not ideal or available. -Ability to consider impacts when making decisions. -Ability to address policy violations with team members respectfully (dress code, safety violations, team member performance, etc.) As the Service Coordinator, you are responsible to determine and make sure all areas are clean and safe to condition standards. The Service department includes the front checkout area, parking lot, entranceways, restrooms, breakroom, and service desk As a Cashier, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers..
