What will you be doing?
- JOB SUMMARY: Works collaboratively with faculty and staff to implement procedures and programs for academic testing. Works with students who need testing and learning support assistance. May provide learning resources and other materials for learning support services. May supervise employees. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Provides support for student learning and support services e tutoring and testing areas. May supervise and train testing technicians as well as schedule technicians working in this area. • Implements procedures for the coordination of academic testing services as well as the dissemination of testing information to faculty/students where appropriate. • Implements procedures to ensure the security of test materials and the confidentiality of test results. Conducts periodic test material inventory. • Administers tests using various methods as defined by faculty within department guidelines and in accommodating students with special needs. • Provides reports and statistics to supervisor. Works with supervisor in developing, implementing and analyzing unit plans. Maintains usage database. • Maintains inventory and stock of materials needed by testing center. • Performs other duties as assigned.

What do you bring?
- MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Associate’s degree or a combination of experience, training and education that equates to the required degree. • One year of experience in learning support services. One year of supervisory or team leader experience. Experience in testing. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree. • Three years of experience managing an academic testing unit.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Discipline knowledge of core subject(s). • Skill in using computing and educational software. • Problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize. • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to implement new technologies and computer programs; to maintain, manage and analyze statistical data; to establish goals and priorities; and to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
