Our client, in the Pharmacutical Industry is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the Environmental Service Department. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.which will align successfully in the organization. 

JOB TITLE : JANITOR/CLEANER 
PAY RANGE: $18 to $20/hour
LOCATION : Swiftwater, PA
HOURS : 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday - Friday
or
LOCATION : Taylor, PA
HOURS : 9 pm to 7:30 am, Monday - Friday

A Janitor, or Cleaner, is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks. Their duties include:

1. Cleaning Interior Spaces:

   • Mopping and vacuuming floors
   • Cleaning surfaces with disinfectant
   • Emptying trash cans or recycling bins

2. Disinfecting Commonly Used Items:

   • Desks
   • Door handles
   • Office tools
   • Phones

3. Maintaining Inventory and Grounds:

   • Ordering cleaning supplies when needed
   • Outdoor grounds maintenance (grass cutting, bush trimming)
   • Snow and debris removal from sidewalks

4. Other Responsibilities:

   • Stocking and maintaining supply rooms
   • Performing minor repairs on machinery, equipment, and tools
   • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
   • Cleaning and maintaining restrooms
   • Washing windows and mirrors
   • Notifying supervisors of unsafe conditions
   • Operating floor scrubbers and other equipment
   • Dusting furniture and fixtures
