Job Title: Accounting Associate

Location: Tulsa, OK

Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking a new opportunity in a manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Tulsa, OK. This role will provide support to our manufacturing operations across North America and Canada, offering valuable exposure to various accounting practices and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile general ledger accounts to trial balances.
• Record cash receipts and resolve payment discrepancies with customers.
• Issue credit memos from RMA’s and rebates to customers.
• Reconcile sales tax accounts and manage exemption certificates.
• Maintain duty drawback document retention.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures.
• Code material requisitions accurately.
• Consolidate expense reports and enter data into ERP system.
• Catalog new fixed assets.
• Meet all deadlines and identify process improvements.
• Maintain written Staff Account process and procedures.
• Assist the Controller with accounting duties and projects.
• Establish effective working relationships and collaborate with team members.

Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of general accounting procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
