Our client in Grand Island, NY is seeking a Inventory Planner Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, procurement, and maintaining a satisfactory level of material and component inventory.

Job Title: Inventory Planner Assistant

Location: Grand Island, NY

Pay Range: Starting at $20.50 per hour

Shift:1st 9:00AM - 5:30PM Monday through Friday

What’s the Job?

• Ensures the accuracy of inventory (batch record and SAP transactions)
• Coordinates activities involved with procuring purchased material.
• Analyze the Material Requirements Plan (MRP) generation report to determine ordering, expediting and de-expediting of parts necessary to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
• Prepares and processes requisitions, change orders and revisions.
• Determines and assign new material parts for production using the First-in First -Out (FIFO) method. 

What’s Needed?

• ERP software and SAP experience (JD Morgan or Oracle knowledge)
• 1+ years of consistent purchasing, production planning and inventory control experience.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree
• Ability to demonstrate effective analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management , suppliers and customers.
• Reliable transportation
