This role would be serving a federal law enforcement agency from either the National Capital Region or Huntsville Alabama.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
Performs complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis and research. Leads in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system. Works directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development. Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines. Maintains a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and acts independently on technical issues within his/her field of expertise. Will support the ATO and accreditation processes.
Participate as part of an Oracle Supercluster team that is responsible for maintaining the Oracle Supercluster infrastructure, software, and all application databases hosted on the environment.
Primary Responsibilities:oSupport leadership prioritize increased technical agility, stability, and capability through the utilization of cloud computing technologies and servicesoMaximize the architectural framework concept of microservices to enable autonomous application evolution within the customer’s ecosystemoDeliver system and infrastructure capabilities that are scalable, secure, resilient, and maximized in terms of data sharing and exploitationoSupport cloud architectures across the AWS unclassified and classified enclaves, with a CI/CD pipeline to support deployment of services to various enclavesoExperience utilizing various CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab and GitLab Runner, and ArtifactoryoExperience deploying and orchestrating Docker containers in cloud environmentsoProvide system platform management (Kubernetes) to include monitoring, troubleshooting of preproduction and production environmentsoExperience with various air-gapped Government unclassified and classified AWS region (or other cloud service provider in the future) managed services, such as Simple Storage Service (S3), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Relational Database Service (RDS), OpenSearch, DynamoDB, and LambdaoManage the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, responding to incidents, ensuring backups are operating correctly, and ensuring cost optimizationoMonitor cloud environments to prevent unforeseen charges and ensure that AWS CloudWatch or equivalent service is activated, and billing alerts and alarms are enabled based on and triggered by government defined metrics.oSupport the migration of IT capabilities to the cloud requiring advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure, security, networking, business analytics, and process optimization skillsoSupport Government cloud environments design including the selection of appropriate cloud services, defining network architecture, optimization for workload and capacity needs, and configuring security protocols to create and maintain the most efficient service while meeting all Agency and industry requirementsoDesign, develop, deliver, and sustain cloud-based solutions that connect disparate data sources with intent to identify possible matches and relationshipsoDesign, develop, deliver, and sustain new and existing cloud-based software tools and subsystems to integrate new and existing application features with back-end system and subsystem capabilities using COTS, GOTS, custom, and open-source software tools
Basic Qualifications:oBachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a master’s degreeo8-12 years of prior relevant experience with a Masters or Doctorate with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.oStrong communication skillsoUS Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:oExperience developing, executing, and evaluating database code, functions, and queries on an Oracle database platform.oExperience installing, troubleshooting, and administering Oracle databases.oExperience with Oracle utilities, administration, and OEM management.oDOD Top Secret Clearance is required.

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
