** This is a remote (home) based position and can be anywhere in the US.
What you will do:
The Johnson Controls HVAC Strategic Account Estimator will price preventive maintenance service on HVAC equipment, considering competitive analysis, market conditions and the overall business strategy.This position will support the HVAC PSA Service Quality Team, working closely with Strategic Account Sellers, Program Managers, and the Central Operations Support Center to estimate service for strategic account customers. This will involve reviewing requests for proposals to capture necessary cost information, achieving pricing that meets the required margin targets.
How you will do it:
A successful Estimator will utilize their field and customer experience in the HVAC market to build an atmosphere of trust and partnership with Sales Executives and the Strategic Account Program Managers. Partner with the HVAC Support team for consistency and alignment, including the Sales and Operations leadership teams. Be receptive to feedback regarding process modification. Facilitate the process to collect and aggregate data from multiple sources. Gain agreement and effectively execute pricing actions. Work closely with BSNA leadership to understand strategic goals.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4 years of HVAC service industry experience
Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and/or digital building automation controls.
Demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally with multiple teams
Ability to develop, execute and improve new and established processes
Prioritize multiple requests from others
Excel and SharePoint master user
Analytical aptitude
Ability to collaborate with and influence others
