What you will do
The BMS Lead Technician will be site support for project delivery teams and identify growth opportunities for the JCI business units.
This role is semi mobile working predominantly on one customer site per day with the possible requirement to working consecutive days on some client sites.
The focus of this role will be Small Project Works which are identified through service works, this is a great opportunity as an entry to project engineering.

How you will do it
As part of Key Account Service Business, the following key tasks will be performed:
- Understanding of the full range of JOHNSON CONTROLS offerings and their applications in customer solutions.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors
- Configure the building control systems
- Maintain Operation and maintenance documentation to reflect changes of the system
- Load and commission system and network-level controllers as required
- Software program modifications using established standards as required
- Develop skills in JCI Cloud based technologies
- Coaching and mentoring of apprentices
- Consults and trains customer representatives in system operations
- Documenting service activities and service report creation
- Assist the key accounts manager with pricing and design of project opportunities
What we look for
Required:
- 2-6 years of experience in Control system as a service engineer
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or to related field
- Focus on Innovation and improving the service delivery model, as well as leading the implementation of improvements within the VIP customer base
- Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Good computer literacy (MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to work alone and when necessary, within the wider service team. A proactive approach to ongoing learning is essential
- Full clean UK Driving License
Preferred:
- Professional Certifications/Diploma within related field
- Working knowledge of Metasys systems in both industrial and commercial environments
