Job Summary:
iAnthus is looking for an Entra (formerly Azure) IT Support Specialist. The Entra IT Support Specialist is a role that is focused primarily on Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite and Entra (formerly Azure) administration but will also provide some end user support.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure) Administrator who specializes in Intune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 suite. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Entra cloud infrastructure, configuring and optimizing cloud services, and ensuring the smooth operation of Intune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 suite. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and efficient cloud environment while providing support to internal teams and clients
Essential Duties:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines (currently using VMWare), virtual networks, and other infrastructure components, such as SQL Server Suite.
- Monitor and optimize SaaS resources to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement and manage Entra (formerly Azure) governance policies, security controls, and compliance requirements.
- Intune Administration:
- Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
- Enroll devices, enforce policies, and ensure compliance across a range of platforms (iOS, Android, Windows).
- Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues, including device registration, policy enforcement, and application deployment.
- Defender Administration:
- Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to protect endpoints from various security threats.
- Configure advanced threat protection policies, conduct threat analysis, and respond to security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to ensure effective threat detection and prevention.
- Microsoft 365 Suite Management:
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
- Configure and maintain user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure proper access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 service-related issues, including email delivery, collaboration, and authentication problems.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance status.
- Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support their various cloud infrastructure needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to end-users, resolving their issues and addressing their concerns promptly. This may include other supporting other critical Line of Business applications as well.
- Provide guidance and support to field services technicians.
- Stay up to date with the latest Entra (formerly Azure), Intune, Defender, and Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure) Administrator, specializing in Intune, Defender, and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Entra (Formerly Azure) infrastructure management, virtualization, and networking.
- Expertise in deploying and managing Intune for MDM and MAM, including policy enforcement and application deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including configuring advanced threat protection policies and incident response.
- Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 services, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Entra (Formerly Azure) resources.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Entra (Formerly Azure) Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, are highly desirable.
The annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $90,000.
