Job Summary:

iAnthus is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Procurement Analyst. This role will involve supporting procurement activities, analyzing purchasing data, assisting in vendor management, and contributing to the overall supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis sector, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow and learn within the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Assist in gathering, organizing, and analyzing purchasing data to identify trends, track spending, and support decision-making processes within the procurement department
• Vendor Relations: Collaborate with vendors to obtain quotes, track orders, and ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
• Purchase Order Management: Support the creation, processing, and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and working closely with the inventory management team to avoid shortages and overstock situations
• Market Research: Conduct research on potential suppliers, compare prices, and gather information on product availability to support procurement decisions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for procurement analysis.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing processes, improve efficiency, and contribute ideas for cost-saving initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as finance, operations, and compliance to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field. Recent graduates or candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and principles is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The salary for this position is $55,000 - $60,000 annual.
