The Business Analyst role is based in Irving TX and reports directly to the Director of Insight.
What you will get to do
- Be part of team supporting and developing applications used for reporting, planning, analysis, and insights. Oracle Enterprise Performance Management cloud applications (Essbase, Planning and EPM Reporting) and Tableau (including Data Prep) are the primary applications used by the insight team, but knowledge of source ERP systems (SAP and JDE) as well as other business intelligence apps / tools (SAP BW/4HANA, BO Analysis, Tagetik) is critical to building enterprise quality solutions
- Support and maintain existing reporting solutions
- Design and build new reporting solutions.
- Lead projects end to end by determining requirements, identifying data sources, developing transformations, automations, report development, analysis, documentation, and user training.
- Support financial close, forecast, and budget processes
- Build relationships with subject matter experts across corporate and regions.
- Manage ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Information Technology.
- Strong MS Office knowledge and expertise, specifically Excel, Access, Power Point and Word.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of pivot tables, complex formulas, formatting, and data transformation.
- Advanced quantitative, analytical, and process orientation.
- Demonstrated initiative, personal accountability and change agent.
- Prior experience working with Business.
- Detail oriented and inquisitive with a high degree of accuracy and work independently.
- Strong ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and support initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment and adapt to constant change.
- Committed and engaged with a strong work ethic; ability to make decisions that are in the best interest of the company.

Preferred Experience and Skills
- Certification in Data Analytics
- Advanced experience with Excel, Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Prior demonstrated experience in Oracle EPM cloud, SAP BO Analysis, SAP BW and Tagetik
- Prior business consulting
- Prior experience in building materials industry
