Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Sales Representative- Concrete to join our team in the Birmingham, AL area.

What You'll Get To Do:
- Lead and demonstrate the safe behavior at all times.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies.
- Coordinate Safe Job site accessibility between customers, dispatch and drivers.
- Attend safety meetings.
- Targeting and acquiring new accounts by identifying new customers with the Ready Mix industry.
- Working with Regional Sales Representatives in creating strategy and supporting sales efforts to expand volume within targeted accounts.
- Building relationships with customers.
- Work to resolve customer complaints.
- Strengthening and growing existing customer relationships.
- Managing activities within assigned cost budgets.
- Effectively document duties including but not limited to weekly call reports, industry equipment counts, market information and growth opportunities.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Ready Mix industry or related construction trades.
- Proven track record of reliability.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal and written).
- Basic proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP is a plus.
