Why Haven of Philadelphia?
Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults and older adults experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or psychosis. Services are provided by psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and other professional staff who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients.
The admissions department works with the interdisciplinary team to build relationships with referral sources, monitor the census for the hospital, review and complete clinical presentations with the physician, interface with insurance companies to complete authorization for treatment. This is a fast paced position that requires excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
POSITION SUMMARY
EDUCATIONMasters’ Degree in Behavioral Health field or Registered Nurse.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSESCPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.
EXPERIENCEExperience with crisis management or intake preferred.
