As a Quality Coordinator you will support performance improvement and risk management through collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams on problem identification and resolution. Your work will include database management, conducting audits, evaluating progress on outcome or process measures and providing immediate response to safety-related issues. You will assist with compliance management by acting as a resource to front-line staff providing education as needed, monitoring training, making rounds to identify quality and safety issues and supporting functions associated with Quality Council, Medical Executive Committee and Governing Board. Clinical support includes assisting with orientation of new staff, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and timely by each unit and ensuring a good “hand-off” with the DON for follow-up and resolution of items. In this role you will also support regulatory survey participation and/or Plan of Correction implementation and complete mandated state and accrediting body reporting in a timely manner.
You should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in an acute care hospital setting; acute inpatient psychiatric setting preferred. Understanding of CMS Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission Standards and state licensing standards required. Our ideal candidate has experience in teaching, clinical program development and database management.
