HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Participates in the development, negotiation, and administration of assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
- Participates in the capture process by communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls (i.e. pricing, past performance), assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications
- Ensures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from peers or management and input from relevant stakeholders
- Creates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
- Generates reports on subcontract activity as required
- Serves as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices
- Initiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers
- Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 6+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Administration, Contracts Administration and/or Procurement.
- Experience: 2+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Administration, Contracts Administration and/or Procurement
- Required Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated experience implementing FAR knowledge and other agency supplements
- Clearance: No clearance required, but must be able to obtain if needed
- Location: This is a hybrid position working between our GDIT Facility in Herndon, VA and remote
- Due to the nature of the work performed and access to restricted data, US Citizenship required

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
