Our work depends on Information Security Analyst Advisor joining our team to work in conjunction with a supportive and talented team of Cybersecurity professionals supporting multiple agency systems.HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT• Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction• Enforce security controls for technical, operational, and management support• Identify, create, track, and remediate system vulnerabilities• Prepare system artifacts for system audits• Review and submit Authority to Operate (ATO) packagesWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:• Education: Security+ certification• Required Experience: 5+ years Information Security
- 3+ years experience with ICD 502 and NIST 800-53
- 3+ years experience with security controls
- 1+ years experience with security impact analysis
• Required Security Clearance: Top Secret with CI Polygraph• Required Skills and Abilities:
- Outstanding communication skills in all forms
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
• Preferred Skills:
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 2+ years as Windows/Unix administrator or support
- Experience using XACTA database applications
