HOW A DATABASE ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:•
Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation•
Supports the design, development, build, analysis, evaluation, installation, and administration of database management systems•
Assists with the design and implementation of databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods• Knowledge of relational databases and have ability to write queries to analyze data within databases•
Experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL•
Experience with PeopleSoft•
Experience in providing technical support for applications - troubleshooting and resolving issues related configurations, patching and use of applications• Reviews and validates applications changes for impact on security and integrity•
Supports application software and performs application installs and upgrades following established procedures• Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8 operations systems•
Experience working in supporting and troubleshooting issues with development team•
Responsible for moving change requests submitted by developers between development, test and production environments
• Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed•
Position will be part of Operations support, so there are occasions for afterhours and weekend work for production deployment and other application support•
Will be required to participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7 support•
Supports the preparation of system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation• May define database organizations, standards, controls, procedures, and documentation•
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:•
Education: BA/BS or equivalent•
Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in install, configurations, patching, monitoring or maintenance with Oracle RDBMS versions 11c or higher• Required Technical Skills: **Specific skill sets required**•
Security Clearance Level: Secret•
Location: Hybrid (Min 2 Days Onsite)•
US Citizenship Required
