HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Performs systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering
- Assist in gathering and documenting systems requirements
- Participates in the upgrading of operating systems and design of systems enhancements.
- Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems
- Develops and conducts tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements and systems funtionality.
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves operating/hardware system problems
- Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: AS/AA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience
- Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience; military experience preferred
- Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques; Knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment; Provide network administration on configurations and perform diagnostics on the network infrastructure; voice / data systems architecture; Provide expertise in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, and various communications devices; Coordinate requirements in conjunction with Network Enterprise Center (NEC), as necessary, to resolve failures of interfaces and networks; Develop operating procedures, monitors the ongoing operation of a complex network environment.
- Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
- Required Skills and Abilities: Must meet DoD 8570 IAM I certification (SEC+); Superb communication skills; Must be able to perform with minimal guidance
- Location: On Customer Site / With moderate travel throughout Pacific AoR to other customer sites

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
