Job Description
Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Serve as WAMS(Wide Area Monitoring System) expert for GridOS WAMS.
- Execute GridOS WAMS Advanced Applications at key customer sites along with helping us add new customers for GridOS WAMS
- An ideal candidate would be a Power System Grad with AI/ML interest as we envision more AI/ML focus for the team.
- Contribute to the team and work with direction from Advanced Technology Organization, beginning to work independently.
- Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and deployment practices.
Education Qualification
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with thesis work in Electrical Engineering(Focus on Power System/Synchrophasors) and minimum of 2 years experience with the industry
- Strong Work/Academic background experience in electrical power systems with focus on Synchrophasors.
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise:
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) including large language models (LLMs) and large agent models (LAMs) for creating Grid Intelligent applications.
- Familiarity with Signal Processing and/or Stability Analysis software such as Powertech DSA tools, PSLF and/or PSS/E is a plus.
- Basic experience in software design, development and/or integration.
- Programming experience in C++, .NET and/or Java and familiarity with basic database operations.
- Exposure to optimization techniques and tools.
- Experience with software development.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Continuous improvement oriented - actively generates process improvements; champions and drives change initiatives.
- Highly organized and efficient; able to balance competing priorities and execute accordingly.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional InformationThe salary range for this position is $99,360USD -$149,040USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include be Health, Medical, 401K, and Paid Leave.
