Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all clinical programs, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- This role requires you to be on call
- Assist in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members.
- Conduct consistent and ongoing audits of nursing programs, identifying areas of improvement, and developing and implementing corrective action plans.
- Direct, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care and services provided to residents.
- Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and the Interdisciplinary team.
Qualified Candidates Must Possess the Following:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing and current state license as a professional Registered Nurse per Iowa regulations.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and at least 2-3 years of nursing management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, discipline, and counseling.
- Knowledge of IDPH and JCAHO regulations.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care/services.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Energetic and professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented, team player, with a compassionate understanding of eldercare.
