Overview:
As a Sales Counselor at CopperWood, you play a vital role in establishing relationships with prospects and leads, managing the sales process, and achieving occupancy and sales goals for Independent and Assisted Living. You will also assist with internal and external marketing efforts to support the Director of Marketing in attaining marketing objectives.
Specific Tasks/Duties:
Marketing Support:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to implement the Marketing Action Plan.
- Assist in planning and executing special events to generate leads and prospects.
- Attend ongoing training provided by CopperWood and accept additional duties as assigned.
- Compile comparative analysis of competitive communities.
- Maintain positive relationships within the industry to increase awareness of trends.
- Foster good working relationships with all departments at CopperWood, focusing on customer service and public relations.
Sales, Prospect, or Lead Generation and Handling:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and leads, utilizing sales skills and strategies.
- Develop a follow-up plan for prospects and contacts to keep the sales process moving forward.
- Compile and maintain accurate files and records on all prospects, leads, and referral sources.
- Input data into REPS to document all sales efforts and track prospects through the sales process.
- Guide prospects from initial inquiry to final decision, identifying steps needed to overcome objections.
- Conduct discovery for prospects, identify decision-makers and obstacles, and develop individualized sales plans.
- Achieve weekly Marketing and Sales productivity standards.
- Maintain relationships with new residents to ensure successful transition.
- Complete all required documentation for closing, move-in, contracts, and assessments.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Assist the Director of Marketing in ensuring satisfaction of prospective residents.
- Practice good customer service skills in all interactions.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, complaints, and comments.
- Communicate effectively and professionally via telephone and in-person.
- Process all paperwork in a timely manner.
- Report problems to the Director of Marketing and assist in problem resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field).
- Experience: Three years of experience in senior housing marketing and sales (Five years preferred).
- Certifications: None specified.
