A Day In the Life
- Install curtain walls, store front assemblies, doors and hardware
- Read and interpret blueprints to measure and cut glass to specifications
- Operate boom lifts, assemble and use scaffold, rigging and hoisting equipment
- Install glass products according to specifications and building codes
- Fasten glass into sashes or frames with clips, moldings, or other types of fasteners
- Add weather seal or putty around edges to seal joints
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work area

- Strong knowledge of hand/power tools in the trade
