This position is responsible for executing dynamic risk monitoring activities, such as top-down risk assessment completion, administration and oversight of continuous monitoring, and retrospective review oversight and coordination. Utilizes business and technical expertise to complete activities effectively and timely, and to communicate sensitive risks and issues that may impact organization direction. Ensures success of projects by coordinating necessary requirements, providing oversight of related audit delivery activities needed to meet Practices objectives, and resolving any issues that arise during the course of work. Monitors and assesses audit practices for risk and compliance with all applicable regulations, and provides recommendations to address complex audit and/or regulatory issues.
Responsibilities:The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $97,239 to $168,548 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Professional Practices for a large financial services institution and/or related internal audit or public accounting experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Professional Practices for a large financial services institution and/or related internal audit or public accounting experience.
License or Certification Type: Designation as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant industry certifications. Required
Skill(s): Knowledge of internal and external laws, policies, and procedures regulating Internal Audit and enterprise risk management actions (e.g. Heightened Standards, SR 13-1, IIA Standards, etc.). Prior background in Internal Audit and/or Enterprise Risk Management for a Large Financial Institution is preferred.
