Overview:
This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of processing of all credit approvals, portfolio reviews and credit grading for the commercial loan portfolio. Provides supervision, development, coaching and training to loan processors. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, Bank policies and established procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy - Establishes and monitors internal processes to ensure procedures and processes comply with governing policies and procedures and that critical duties are completed timely and accurately, coordinating with other departments as needed. Contributes towards the management of the client loan portfolio and provides training, coaching and coordination of cross-functional teams within the business unit.
- Supervisory Functions - Oversees the activities of a team supporting client lending activities. Assesses work of associates for accuracy, process improvements, and efficiencies. Ensures compliance with department policies and procedures. Manages the performance of assigned staff, which may include mentorship, training, and staff evaluations.
- Business Support - Supports daily loan processing duties, monthly reporting functions and overall pipeline management. Provides credit support to both internal and external examiners.
- Compliance - Accountable for adherence to all applicable regulations, compliance standards, quality of documentation, as well as timeliness and volume of activity. Actively protects confidentiality of customer and account information.
The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $71,858.00 to $124,553.00 per year. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Credit Analysis, lending or underwriting including leadership OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Credit Analysis, lending or underwriting including leadership
