Job Location: 6021 Connection Drive, Irving, Texas 75039 and various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the US.
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Perform Oracle data guard tasks both logical and physical standby. Diagnose problems and resolve issues across various tiers (application, database, network, server, and storage). Responsible for quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime in the database environment. Provide Architecture database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning. Automation of standard DBA tasks. Able to develop scripts on UNIX and Windows platforms as necessary. Monitoring database performance and propose improvements to enhance the performance of the databases.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or two years in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Position requires one year of experience in the following:
- Oracle Dataguard
- Oracle RAC databases 11g/12c/18c/19c
- OEM 12c/13c
- PL/SQL
- Stored Procedures, Oracle Schedulers
- EXP/IMP, EXPDP/IMPDP datapump
- RMAN
- ETL
Must be available to work at various, unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the US.
