Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
Must have the following requirements:
*Must pass an online EKG competency course
*BLS required
*NIH required
* EPIC experience required
1.5 years exp in a level 1 or 2 preferred
Floating and Other Requirements:
• Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
• Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

Working with Tele/drips-23 bed unit
Unit Description: Hospital: Miami Valley Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
Medical Surgical Orthopedic patients – most commonly taking care of patients with traumatic hip fractures, elective spine surgeries, and other traumatic orthopedic injuries.
Most patients require pre/post-surgical orthopedic care, including heart monitors, drains, PCAs, and Ketamine drips. Also, provide care to any med surg patient/overflow.
