HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
PATIENT POPULATION: Neonates - Geriatrics - MRI Tech: For our Hospital MRI machines we cover a wide variety of patients in the inpatient/outpatient and Emergency Room settings. On Tues / Wed / Thurs we have a Cardiac MRI schedule, On Saturday we have an outpatient schedule as well as inpatients and Emergency patients.
REQUIRED SKILLS: ARRT, BLS, EPIC, Experience working in adult acute care/ICU/Outpatient and ER/Trauma. Common scans include abdomen, female/male pelvis, Chest, Brain, Face/soft tissue neck, , Hip, Knee, Shoulder. Ability to prepare and administer contrast media and experience with starting peripheral IVs. Special imaging procedures include CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography, Spin Echo Images, Surface cells, T-1 Weighted Images, Spine (Cervical, Lumbar and Thoracic), NICU patients
