Infusion RN for moderately paced clinic. Oncology w/minimal hematology; mostly solid tumor. Infusion ratio of 1-5 based on acuity; 18-chair, 2 room unit; typical chemo regimens are 5-6 hours; typically start in AM with break around 2pm; Aim to have a free charge nurse to assist with breaks; Required to do homework/prepwork for next day. Alaris pumps and IV finders used. Provider Support: Interpretation services, Pharmacy, Phlebotomy, Social Services, and Unit Secretary. Provider Coverage: NP and Oncologist.
Day shift, 4x10s, 0745-1815. No weekends, no on call, no float. Pyxis med system, EPIC documentation, SBAR comm. 1 year experience REQUIRED, 2+ preferred. 40hr orientation w/20hr on floor. Caribbean Blue scrubs, not provided.
