General Purpose
Maintain efficient operation of raw receiving, HTST’s, and blending equipment. Clean all blending, raw receiving, and HTST processing equipment. Maintain a working knowledge of all processes associated with job.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive milk and other raw materials into receiving
- Perform all duties associated with HTST processors, and all blending equipment
- Ensure production needs and goals while making efforts to minimize product shrink
- Perform CIP and manual washing of silos and equipment
- Conduct quality checks and tests of incoming fluids, as well as performing routine chemical concentration tests
- Ensure accurately and timely monitoring of critical control points
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
- Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
- Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Production or general work experienced preferred
- Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
- Able to effectively work in a team environment
- Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
