Cox Automotive is looking for a
Senior Manager, UX Design to join our team.The Senior Manager of UX Design will oversee all UX design activities, ensuring the delivery of intuitive, user-centered designs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of UX principles, strong leadership skills, a focus on coaching and mentorship, and the ability to collaborate across departments to create seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Develop and implement UX design strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization.
- Build and nurture a strong team culture.
- Work closely with the Sr Director of UX to achieve team and company outcomes.
- Design & Development:
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Ensure consistency and quality in design deliverables across all platforms (web, mobile, etc.).
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate UX design into the product development process.
- Work closely with the UX Research team to incorporate discovery, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Incorporate user feedback into iterative design processes to enhance user satisfaction.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Allocate resources effectively and prioritize tasks based on project requirements and team capacity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field and 8+ years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
- 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful UX projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and prototyping tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
USD 142,100.00 - 236,800.00 per year
Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $142,100.00 - $236,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
