The Automotive Client Insights team at Cox Automotive is seeking a
Senior Product Manager to help drive the evolution of client reporting, analytics, and insights capabilities for dealers and OEMs.Access to deep data-driven insights is more important to our clients than ever before and with Cox Automotive's unparalleled collection of industry benchmark brands and products we have a unique opportunity to revolutionize the way dealers and OEMs use data to grow their business.The role includes but is not limited to contributing to and managing the product roadmap, overseeing implementation, and working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to develop products that meet the needs of our clients.Key Responsibilities:
- Work with internal stakeholders and clients to understand and articulate how data, reporting, and insights might solve their problems and achieve their goals
- Lead product discovery efforts through iterative research, concepting, and development to shape the scope and opportunity of new product concepts in partnership with UX, engineering, data science, and other stakeholders
- Manage the product backlog and refine epic and feature requirements for a reporting and insights data products
- Lead multiple scrum teams to build, enhance and manage products, capabilities or services.
- Partner with other Agile product managers to deliver on a vision that crosses multiple delivery streams or release trains.
- Develop and documenting product, metric, and data definitions and requirements
- Participate in or facilitate effective and efficient meetings and stakeholder interviews
- Work successfully in a dynamic environment in which meticulous attention to detail is expected
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2+ years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
- Exhibits exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for data-driven decision-making and comfortable rolling up the sleeves to dig into the data to develop concepts that can be tested with clients and that inform the product roadmap
- Experience in design, development and implementation of product plans
- Experience in full product lifecycle methodologies
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Preferred qualifications
- Automotive industry experience, especially at a dealership or OEM
- Experience with MicroStrategy, Tableau, and/or other business intelligence software applications
- Experience querying and manipulating data to develop analyses, dashboards, and/or data product concepts
USD 97,100.00 - 161,800.00 per year
Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
