Cognizant is looking for a Scrum /Agile project Manager” for developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Education Details: BS or Equivalent

Job Location:Hartford CT (Onsite 3 days a week)

Roles & Responsibilities:

·Project Management of key initiatives and programs using Water fall or Agile methodologies.

·Lead Project Planning, Estimation, Budgeting/forecasting, Dependency management, risk, issue & resource management, Run daily scrum meetings, status reporting and project communications. Ensure projects complete within budget and schedule.

·Coordinate with the Program Manager, Environment Manager and other Delivery leads, business stakeholders on deliverables and dependencies

·Facilitator of Agile Ceremonies including Backlog Refinement, Release / Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-up, Demos, and Retrospectives

·Contribute to best practices and standards to ensure there is a consistent approach to Delivery Management

·Project Management of key initiatives and programs using Water fall or Agile methodologies.

·Contribute to best practices and standards to ensure there is a consistent approach to Delivery Management

·Data delivery and governance of key initiatives / programs with a comprehensive understanding of the data and our customers

·Engage with Internal Audit on the processes and controls for the various projects

·Regular stakeholder engagement and communication with leaders and Project Steering committee

·Demonstrable leadership experience, leading programs/projects or colleagues.

·Experienced in leading and delivering enterprise level initiatives across multiple parts of the Insurance claims value chain. Insurance experience is mandatory.

·Expert knowledge of Agile practices, experience operating as a member of an Agile delivery team; prior experience as a Senior Scrum Master will be an added advantage.

·Excellent presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills, across all levels of management and customer interaction.

·Ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

·Ability to manage an individual team(s) while being able to understand the broader perspective.

·Ability to coordinate and manage a team across different geographies (Onshore and Offshore)
