Senior Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

Location: Hartford, CT, various (remote)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Write, test code, debug programs, and integrate applications with third-party web services.

- Build highly responsive web applications that align with client’s business needs related metadata management and data linage.

- Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.

- Integrate user-facing elements into applications.

- Improve functionality of existing systems and implement security and data protection solutions.

- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.

- Create customized applications for smaller tasks to enhance website capability based on business needs.

- Build table frames, forms, and writes script within the browser to enhance site functionality.

- Ensure web pages are functional across different browser types and conduct tests to verify user functionality.

Qualifications:

- 10+ years of software development experience.

- Proficient with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices & Angular.

- Technical understanding and hands-on experience in AWS.

- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 03/21/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $52000 – $137000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
