An established critical access hospital located in the Upper Connecticut Valley region is now looking for an experienced Director Older Adult Behavioral Health to join their award-winning healthcare team.
For more than a century, this critical access hospital has provided accessible, affordable, and high-quality healthcare. This location represents a number of services including a level IV Trauma Center, inpatient services, orthopedics and surgical services, imaging and laboratory testing, behavioral health, and rehabilitative services.
Reporting to the CNO and CMO, the Director Older Adult Behavioral Health will oversee the clinical and administrative functions of a 10-bed inpatient unit catered towards older adults with mental health concerns. This department is designed to offer a sensitive environment and serves as a referral center for the New England regions. The Director has oversight of department staffing, leads recruitment, monitors and evaluates staff performance, develops training plans, implements departmental policies and procedures, ensures compliance with all regulatory standards, manages department budgets, and participates in various hospital committees.
